About Sarah Blodgett

Sarah Blodgett is the creator of Divine Feminine Dance. She loves sparkle, satin, and everything pink.
A New England native, Sarah took every opportunity as a child to go to her room, shut the door, turn on some music, and dance. She didn’t take her first formal dance class until well into her teens. She danced and assisted classes through college and has studied so many dance styles throughout her life from hip hop, bellydance, tap, jazz, ballet, salsa, burlesque, to striptease.
Not having a “dancer’s body”, Sarah tried many other professions over the years, from Cosmetology, to Stand-up Comedy, to beauty blogging.
Then, after a short marriage, painful divorce, and having to become a caregiver to aging parents, Sarah decided to document her struggles with body image and her self love journey on Instagram, gaining an huge following and becoming an Instagram model.
Realizing that if she could become a model even though she didn’t have a “model’s body”, Sarah decided to reconnect with her first love, dance, and use it as a way of healing. That is when she created Divine Feminine Dance to inspire all women to use dance as a way of dropping into their bodies and connecting with their inner goddess.
In her spare time Sarah loves to take bubble baths, do at home beauty treatments, take walks outside and search for bunnies for a dose of cuteness, collect crystals, make out with strawberries, stretch and do pilates, and move her hips anytime she can.
“Gloria Estefan was right… the rhythm IS going to get you” – Sarah Blodgett, creator of Divine Feminine Dance
